We had a wonderful stay at the Finca Botanico. The place is charming, peaceful, well arranged, and the garden is as lovely as in the pictures. Incredible Secret Garden and such a wonderful house. As it’s a bit windy sometimes the garden was a perfect place to take a break. The location is perfect you are quickly at every nice place on the island. Nick had some very tipps where to go and communication was perfect! We immediately felt at home!

I stayed with my parents and we really enjoyed our visit to Finca Botanico. The property is spacious and comfortable, with a really lovely outdoor space of plants and flowers, along with lots of seating and a barbecue area. All very private and tranquil. The indoor kitchen/living area is well equipped and has great sunlight from the double doors leading to the garden area.

Finca Botanico is a beautiful place. We stayed again in the Secret Garden. It is beautiful inside. A mix of tradition but having every modern facility you could wish for. Outside is stunning with a garden that reflects the professional horticultural skills of the owners. So imaginative. Gaby, the main contact for guests of the couple, is so helpful if you need it but also let's you just chill quietly as you wish. We both do quite stressful charity jobs but whatever you do, I would bet you would love to stay.

The village is not a busy tourist resort and better for that. Good shop, welcoming locals bar and the beautiful local coast of Artieta region just mins away. As are most of the great sites of Lanzarote.

Well worth checking website and taking a close look. Sign up for their email updates too. Persuades and excites us, yet they don't quite capture the magic. This place doesn't rely on doctored photos that many disappointing places do. We will go again we are sure.

I cannot beging to tell you how much my stress levels have gone down since I walked through the door of this property. It's just such a beautiful, beautiful space. You can tell whoever owns it loves it. It's not just a money making thing for them. This is something they have put their heart and soul into and it really shows. Instant wow factor.

When we first entered the Secret Garden we were surprised and pleased at its spaciousness and how light and bright it was. The living room and kitchen area was like a summer house looking out to the beautiful garden and even when it rained it still looked amazing. We loved the many different areas of the garden where we could enjoy a glass or two of the excellent local wine. We loved the Finca and hope to return. As previously remarked, Gaby was very helpful and readily contactable.

It's just amazing!!! The garden is beautiful, it has several spots to enjoy the outdoor area and it is well cared for. The interior is great, the house is decorated with great taste and no detail is lacking, we feel like home from minute one... the windows from the kitchen-dining room to the garden are amazing. Communication with Nick and Gaby is great, very fluid and with all the info before arriving, they have also compiled all kinds of recommendations about the island and especially the north. Thank you very much for everything, we want to come back!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the finca. Very clean and equipped with pretty much everything you need for a week or 2. The garden is a dream and perfect to relax in for lazy days. Very private and quiet location, ideal if you have a car to get around. Most of Lanzarote is within a 15-30 minutes drive and there’s a small supermarket in walking distance. Gaby was a pleasure to communicate with, very welcoming and quick to respond.

We spent a delightful 10 days at the lovely Finca Botanico. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean and a pleasing décor. It was all we could have wished for. The garden is a welcoming, relaxing space with its beautiful array of planting. Gaby was readily contactable to answer questions which was very helpful.

We have now thoroughly enjoyed several winter visits to the Secret Garden Villa. Its location, in the small village of Guatiza, is perfect for walking to the coast or hills. It is also well positioned for travel to the quieter north of the island. There is an excellent Italian restaurant and a great little village store. Gaby and Nick have renovated the finca to a very high, comfortable standard and are always adding little extras too.

A warm welcome always awaits. The enclosed garden is a sheer joy, offering sun and shade as well as an eclectic range of sub-tropical plants. Its design is gorgeous and enhanced by subtle lighting that enables it to be enjoyed at night. Its seclusion and safety are most welcome features too. The property is a gem and provides a charming green oasis in the otherwise arid landscape of the Island. We recommend it unreservedly!

It is in a nice hamlet in the north, the flowery garden is really relaxing, the host is very supportive and the location quiet, and not at all in the tourist areas. All amenities are catered for. The shower hot. internet is excellent.

The place is a good size, well-equipped and, of course, has a lovely garden area. We liked the rural location and it's only a few km from the sea-side. Five Stars all round!

The house provided a lovely quiet location from which to easily explore the island. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was simple and one small issue we had was addressed and fixed immediately even though we were leaving the next day. The garden is beautiful and a lovely sun trap with options of places to sit in sun or shade, vertical or horizontal and there is also a bar b que. would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Gautiza is a nice village only about 20 mins from the airport, decent supermarket with deli and fresh bread each morning, and only 10 mins walk to the cactus garden. I didn't have a car as I just wanted to relax, and I most definitely did!

The garden apartment was perfect, a great size and lovely secluded garden with many tropical plants. Great for sitting outside day or night, very relaxing. Inside is furnished in a quality way and it seems everything you might need has been thought of. Kitchen has everything, lounge very comfortable and has tv with many channels, good bathroom and the bedroom has loads of cupboard space and a good bed with comfortable mattress. Gaby was an excellent host, responded to all my questions quickly and went the extra to help me out. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want something quiet, secluded and away from the many hotels on the coast.

A stunning place to stay for our honeymoon! The local restaurants were closed on our arrival. However, Gaby purchased food for us to get us through the evening, checking any dietary issues too. The facilities in the Garden Apartment are excellent. The garden itself is gorgeous. We tried some of the recommended restaurants. In all instances, the food was excellent, plentiful and great value for money. The last comment applies to Finca Botanico just as much. I would highly recommend hiring a car. Gaby recommended CICAR and they were excellent value for money and great service too. Thank you Gaby, thank you Nick. A holiday we will never forget.

The house is very pretty and the garden is very pleasant. The location of the apartment is perfect. When I arrived there was, as a welcome, water, fruit, bread, eggs and a bottle of local wine. Gaby and Nick's little house is just a perfect base in Lanzarote! Ideal central location, Guatiza is a small village away from tourists which has charm and the necessary amenities. The terrace is as in the photos, beautifully planted with trees, with little shaded areas and sun from the morning and late at night. As a bonus, a barbecue, garden furniture and an outdoor shower. As for the interior, nothing is missing! The walk-in shower and the king-size bed are real bonuses. In short, I recommend 100% for romantic vacations!
